Analyst, Sales Operations & Forecasting

Summary of Purpose:
The successful candidate is a key player who supports the organization in mining and analyzing data while reporting KPIs back to key internal stakeholders. The candidate with also support the organization during Budgets, Strategic Planning and Monthly Updates by supporting brand forecasting in both the pre-launch, launch and in-line phases for our suite of products. Responsibilities:
BRAND ANALYTICS
• Provide market and prescriber analytics that drive strategic business decisions
• Support teams through the production of brand scorecards
• Actively participate in the development of annual business planning for key brands
• Liaise with co-commercialization partners as appropriate to build alignment
• Provide support for and lead special projects
• Provide support to extract and organize data to be analyzed
• Provide Support in SIP (Sales Incentive Plan) design and performance reporting
FORECASTING
• Support, develop and maintain brand forecast models (patient-based, prescription based etc., national, provincial, by SKU as appropriate)
• Track brand performance through scorecards or other appropriate vehicles
• Build a network across Otsuka affiliates to support hypothesis building and import best practices in modeling
• Work cross-functionally to gather forecast assumptions, risks and opportunities regarding the brand forecasts
• Support internal meetings to build alignment around forecast assumptions
• Liaise with co-commercialization partners as appropriate to build alignment
• Reporting Safety Information, Product Quality Complaint and Customer Feedback as per training on current procedures
• Performs other related duties as required
SYSTEMS/TOOLS
Support the implementation and maintenance of tools including:

- Veeva CRM
- Data Warehouses
- Dashboards (web based or other)
Qualifications and Key Competencies:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Science or Commerce), MBA an asset
• 3-5 years’ experience in analytics, in a pharmaceutical environment, considered an asset
• Exceptional MS Office skills (requires advanced EXCEL skills)
• Experienced in report development, data warehousing, data modeling and data mining is an asset
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and work with secondary data
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter, takes initiative, is innovative and creative
• Demonstrated detail orientation, proven ability to deliver in a timely manner where multiple projects are in process
• Ability to work with senior professionals in a fast-paced environment, often with tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
